Call for Workshop Proposals
We are committed to providing conference offerings that will address a broad
range of issues pertaining to men and masculinity and the prevention of
sexual violence, with an emphasis on addressing the root causes in order to
prevent violence before it occurs. We are seeking workshops and presenters
that will address the interrelated factors that influence sexual violence,
the development and implementation of effective programs, current research
in sexual violence prevention and healthy sexuality promotion, and gender
equity as it relates to sexual violence. Workshops should take into
consideration that audience members will have a broad range of knowledge and
skills, and should be designed to meet people where they are at in their
understanding of the issues and help to facilitate an increased
understanding. http://sati.oregonsatf.org/docs/Roots_RFWP.doc
