Dear Colleagues,
My Risk Management department has asked me a question with regard to my
liability insurance for the work that I do. I am wondering if anyone can
assist me with the following question they posed to me:
1. Do others doing the same thing you're doing have specific coverage for
their work at their institutions?
My role includes response, education, prevention, training, supervision and
training of an on call team of advocates. I am not in the Health and
Counseling Center and reside in the Division of Student Life. If anyone is in
a similar situation, could you email me any information you have about the
liability coverage your institution provides you and any advocates you may
supervise?
Thanks,
Lisa Ingarfield
