In 2009, the Dartmouth Outing Club will celebrate it's 100th anniversary
making it the oldest and one of the largest collegiate outdoor recreation
programs in the country. This is an exceptional opportunity for an
experienced outdoor recreation profession. It includes:
* Supervising a department staff of 14 full-time and numerous student,
part-time and seasonal employees.
* Managing an extensive variety of facilities include a 88 bed lodge, 18
cabins, canoe\kayak boat house, organic farm, indoor climbing gym, ropes and
team courses, and extensive hiking and ski trails.
* Administering annual operating budgets over $2 million and endowments near
$19 million.
* Oversees a wide range of recreational and experiential learning trips,
classes and programs and the advisement of the student-run Dartmouth Outing
Club and its programs.
* Supervising the NCAA Division I 2007 national championship men's and
women's cross country and downhill ski teams.
