I saw the page about 30 minutes ago and now the URL is not functioning. Is
anyone else getting the same result? I am hoping that it means that Amazon
pulled it down. I know I immediately emailed the company when I first saw
Juliette's post. I am also contacting the distributor.

I knew that when an individual Black woman's consciousness concerning how she
understands her everyday life undergoes change, she can become empowered.
Such consciousness may stimulate her to embark on a path of personal freedom,
even if it exists primarily in her own mind. If she is lucky enough to meet
others who are undergoing similar journeys, she and they can change the world
around them. -Patricia Hill Collins, Black Feminist Thought

Here is a Sexual Assault Prevention Tool designed for incoming freshmen. IT
includes both film (DVD) and curriculum materials (CD) that are very
powerful! There is a trailer on the website and if you have questions let me
know. www.reelinsight.org

Often, the best reaction is to contact Amazon.com directly (in
addition to the reviews you can leave). Amazon does not typically
double-check every product made available. You can quickly make a
product available via Amazon. If we all contact them, they may
quickly remove it from the site.
The one reaction I would hesitate on taking is releasing a Press
Release or contacting the media (an act I often do believe in to raise
awareness). Creators of such a shirt would receive MASSIVE publicity
for FREE and sell a lot more of these shirts filled with a horrific
message. Lets not help them make money on such a despicable shirt.
Media coverage greatly increases website traffic for negative news.
Right now, this shirt might not even be selling. ALL the reviews I
have read on the shirt are negative and letting the person know how
horrible the shirt is.
The best result would be getting the shirt taken down (potentially
getting this vendor permanently removed from Amazon) and not giving
them any publicity which would benefit them.

No longer in stock can still BE SOLD. If you see that status, still
please contact Amazon to have them remove the product altogether.

Will someone please find the email address or mailing address where we
can send letters of protest? I'd like to help mobilize a national
boycott of Amazon.com until they pull this product. They, and the
makers of this shirt, should be prosecuted for being accessories to
rape.

I'm not sure if they are the makers, but the distributor (as noted at
Amazon.com) is http://www.t-shirts.com/. That web site lists contact
information for the company, just click on their "info" link.
