Good morning!

I've pasted below a book recommendation request from a student.  She applied
for and received some funding on campus to lead a group of her peers in
discussion and action around the issue of gender violence.  (They will be
choosing a book and ordering a copy for each group member.)  The group is
made up of students across campus and they range in their knowledge of these
issues... for some, it's their first exposure to the topic.  I've made some
suggestions, but told her I'd love to hear others from all of you.  If you
don't mind sending recommendations to me, I'll pass them along.

*We are looking for a book about sexual assault that would appeal to a
college-aged audience. We would like this book to define sexual assault and
to introduce the issues that are associated with it, such as rape culture
and victim-blaming. We also would like this book to cover the issue of
same-sex sexual assault. The book should also suggest ways to take action in
order to address these issues.*
