Hi, Rus! Glad you're interested - I answered your post on Fivers this
morning and am now answering this one on SAPC! So it might be a bit
repetitive...
Yes, part of the idea is to focus on, engage and examine the behaviors of
male college students. To make this happen, Feminist Spring Break will
ideally have some kind of gender balance (certainly more women than men will
apply, but with the work that many are doing with men on college campuses, we
should get *some* men wanting to do this, and maybe can even achieve gender
balance among the group that goes down).
So yes, I think that female students would get a lot out of Feminist Spring
Break. But it is not aimed solely at them - it's aimed more at engaging and
challenging male behavior and attitudes.
Until the violence stops, Ben.

Quote of the Month: May, 2008:
".we gain something profound when we stand up for our beliefs, just as part
of us dies when we know that something is wrong, yet do nothing. We could
call this radical dignity. We don't have to tackle every issue, but if we
remain silent in the face of cruelty, injustice, and oppression, we sacrifice
part of our soul. In this sense, we keep on acting because by doing so we
affirm our humanity - the core of who we are, and what we hold in common with
others."
