Qualifications     A Master's degree is required; Ph.D. preferred.

The position demands a dynamic leader with experience in mentoring students 
and young girls, a record of success in leadership, and a commitment to 
diversity as a value in higher education. Experience with teaching and 
presentations to groups within higher education would be helpful.

The position of Director Mentoring & Diversity Programs is a full-time 
general faculty position. The Director Mentoring & Diversity is responsible 
for the coordination and development of several mentoring programs, including 
the Young Women Leaders Program which pairs undergraduate women with middle 
school girls, and includes co-teaching a weekly class.

Founded in 1989, the Women's Center sponsors diverse programs, ranging from 
visiting artists and scholars to counseling services.

Responsibilities include: supervision; fundraising; assistance with budget 
planning; policy development; grant writing and representation of the Center 
within the university and community. This is a full-time 12-month faculty 
position. The salary for the position is competitive and commensurate with 
credentials and experience.
