I would echo the "Allies in Healing" recommendation - it helped me when I 
dated a survivor many years ago.

I would also recommend activism.  Some of our best male allies doing this 
work have come to the work because they dated a survivor.  I don't know if 
this person is male, but either gender might benefit from supporting their 
local rape crisis center, Women's Center, etc. in some way.
