for the price of $3.50 per poster (1-9), $3.00 per poster (10 or more),
Standard Rate shipping of $8 not included.
What is Jeans For Justice?
Jeans for Justice began as a result of an Italian rape case in which a
driving instructor was convicted of raping his student (who was wearing
jeans). Upon appeal, the perpetrator's conviction was overturned on the
grounds that the court believed it was physically impossible for one person
to remove another person's jeans without consent. As a result of this
ruling, women globally began to protest the ruling by wearing jeans rather
than office or dress attire to work. The protest continues in this country
each year when businesses work with local rape crisis centers or other sexual
assault awareness programs to raise money. The way it typically works is
employees can pay a donation to the local rape crisis center in exchange for
wearing jeans on a work day. Employers can also provide donations on behalf
of their employees.
How Can I Use the Posters?
Your organization can work with local businesses to promote Jeans For
Justice Day. You can now approach businesses with these visually compelling
posters that tell the story of how Jeans for Justice came about. Offer them
to participating businesses as a public awareness piece for those employees
who choose to participate. This not only adds to employee awareness of the
issue of sexual assault but facilitate fundraising
strategies for your organization.

While doing a campaign focusing on adult males and the issue of statutory
rape, I have used a company called Gocards to place postcards in bars and
restaurants and I have also placed ads in men's rooms. Below is Heather's
contact information. And feel free to contact me if you have questions about
GoCard media, I would be happy to chat.
