I had the honor to work at the University of South Carolina in Columbia
in their sexual health and violence prevention program and they have an
alternative housing space like this. They have a wonderful model
program that I highly recommend you look into.
Contact the director, tricia phaup,
for the history of
how this began and where they are now, and any other questions!

Hi all,
Do any of your campuses have "safe rooms" that victimized students can
use for safety and privacy? We are looking to implement this on our
campus and would like to hear how this works procedurally on other
campuses. Thanks!
