Hi,
The perfect question for me to answer! There are several resources in the
area.
Our office, Safe Campus, at the University of Maine:
www.umaine.edu/safecampusproject
There are several student related organizations at UMaine also are engaged in
this work such as the Student Women's Association, Peer Educators, Greek Peer
Educators, Athletes for Sexual Responsibility, Male Athletes Against
Violence, Students for a
Safe Campus. If you'd like more information about these groups, email
me.
Also:
Rape Response Services, Bangor: www.raperesponseservices.org
Spruce Run, Domestic Violence Project, Bangor: www.sprucerun.net
There is a men's network out of the Waterville area as well, I believe at
Colby College, organized by Mark Tappin.
