Hey y'all,
I'm wondering if any college campuses out there have coordinated
efforts to address drug-facilitated sexual assault. We know that alcohol
is involved in most sexual assaults on our campus, but we don't have a
very good way to address involuntarily administered drugs (i.e., "date
rape drugs"). In my mind, a coordinated effort wouldn't simply focus on
how to avoid being drugged (messages such as "cover your drink"), but
also focus on the perpetrator's choices, as well as build policy that
increases opportunities to report.
If you know of a campus that has a coordinated effort, addressing all
aspects of drug-facilitated sexual assaults, please send names &
contacts to me directly (off list) at
.
Thanks!
In peace,
Ross
