Hi all -
We have a potentially marvelous opportunity here to recommend a book for
our whole campus to read that deals with violence against women themes
as part of our campus' annual book reading project. Has to also be a
well written piece of literature. On the 10th Anniversary of the V-day
Initiative/Vagina Monologues, I thought it would wonderful timing to
recommend Eve Ensler's Vagina Monologues and of course to have
associated events (like inviting her to campus; having a performance of
the Monologues etc). Any creative ideas? A book that's an engaging
read and would further people's feminist understandings of sexual
violence would be particularly welcome. Thanks in advance.
