Juliette--

I personally feel you have no need to apologize!

This is the horrific nature of life- and that this happened and that someone
was potentially suspected of training an animal to do so- is appalling and
just another level that we all should be aware of and add to personal
knowledge base that these atrocities happen.

Sick people lurk all over and if we want to place our heads in the sand and
pretend that this does not fine.

I would suggest that you place in the subject line that this story contains
content that may make readers uncomfortable.

Personally- I ask that you do not stop doing this.....  it made many of us
more educated yesterday..... and, I thank you for that.

  Hello everyone-

Yesterday I sent out an article that was very painful to read.  I
receive so many articles every day that I weed out, and this one was so
horrific and terrifying and I made a quick decisiion to send it out to
  you all as a concern.

When I got home last night I realized how difficult of an article it was
and this morning I received a very appreciated email from a listserv
member expressing their uncomfortability with it.  I want to apologize
to you all if you felt blind-sided by it or really uncomfortable-as I
know I definitely did when i received it.  It was one of those rash
decisions in a day of craziness in which I thought that somehow knowing
  was better than not.

I am really sorry and will make sure not to send any emails like this in
the future without a serious disclaimer-please feel free to call or
email me if you would like to talk about this.

  Juliette
