Dartmouth College
Career Opportunity
The Center for Women and Gender and Health Resources offices are seeking
dedicated and engaged campus leaders who are committed to making a difference
in a student-focused and collaborative environment. As one of the most
diverse institutions of higher education in New England and an equal
opportunity/affirmative action employer, Dartmouth has a strong commitment to
diversity. For this reason, we are particularly interested in receiving
applications and nominations from a broad spectrum of people, especially
members of under represented populations.
The Center for Women and Gender was founded in 1988 to support all women and
their achievements. Our goal is to build a campus-wide community that
respects the differences and to support the College's diverse communities.
Health Resources mission is to foster student academic and personal success
by increasing discussion, examining issues and exploring the underlying
contexts of key health behaviors. Our aim is to support and encourage the
College community and individual students to think critically about health
decision-making. Our objective is to prepare individuals and groups to take
meaningful action to re-duce negative, and increase positive, health-related
behavior. Dartmouth College is an incredibly diverse institution that serves
over 4,100 undergraduate and 1,600 graduate students.
Dartmouth's main campus is located in Hanover, NH, a picturesque New England
setting along the Connecticut River that offers a high quality of life
including an abundance of arts, recreation, and an exciting educational
environment.
