We, too, went through all sorts of twists and turns to find a good name for our program. We ended up with our current name, Sexual and Domestic Violence Services, although it also doesn't really get to the heart of what we do. But it's better than our old name, which wasn't a program name at all, but a job title for me (also a misnomer): Sexual Assault Education Coordinator.
