and contributing to a small city in beautiful southwestern Montana. The
Network Against Sexual and Domestic Violence in Bozeman, Montana is

JOB TITLE: Executive Director

WORK STATUS: Full Time / Exempt
The Network Against Sexual and Domestic Abuse (www.thenetworkmt.org
<http://www.thenetworkmt.org/> ) advocates individual and community
freedom from all forms of domestic and sexual abuse. Our core values are
equality, self determination, diversity, respect and non-violence.
Responsibilities include strategic planning, board development, finance
management, fund and program development, personnel and property
management, and volunteer development and marketing. The Executive
Director is accountable to the Board of Directors, and reports to and
receives direction from the Board President(s). The Executive Director
is responsible for the daily operation of the Network Against Sexual and
Domestic Abuse, and for developing objectives and the specific programs
necessary to achieve them. S/he coordinates the activities of the
facility, evaluates all operations to determine their adequacy, and
recommends changes as appropriate. The Executive Director also
participates in community activities to enhance the Network's image,
meets new donor prospects and cultivates opportunities for
organizational development.
QUALIFICATIONS
* Experience with a domestic violence or sexual assault
organization, or related field.
* Experience with or understanding of consensus-based decision
making.
* Bachelor's Degree in related field (Business, Public
Administration, etc.) and/or extensive related experience.
* Demonstrated ability in public speaking, written and oral
communications and interpersonal relations.
* Experience working with local and/or state resources.
* Working knowledge of nonprofit fiscal management, including
budgets and financial statements.
* Experience with crisis intervention.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Ability to operate in a situation requiring the
attainment of set limits, accuracies, tolerance or standards. Ability to
perform a variety of duties, often changing from one task to another of
a different nature without loss of efficiency or composure. Ability to
sit for extended periods of time, up to 1-2 hours. Ability to lift up to
30 lbs.
HOURS OF WORK: Schedule may vary in order to meet the demands of the
Network.
TRAINING: Must attend domestic violence and sexual assault training
programs.
