I attended the End Violence Against Women International conference in 
Houston last week and one of the speakers talked about the UCR as a poor 
source.  She mentioned that the FBI stat is more reliable, which is that 2% 
of reported sexual assaults are false reports which is the same rate of 
false reporting as exists for other crimes.
