Does anyone know the stat of women that contract an STI as a result of a rape? I keep on seeing "up to 33% or 40%"-both of these imply from 0% on up (very broad!) , and I cannot find a source for them....

Thanks!

Does anyone know the stat of how many college women are being raped by
college men (either men on their colleges or college men in general)?

Probably the best answer to this question is found in "The Sexual
Victimization of College Women" research report published by the U.S.
Department of Justice in 2000. But even it may not fully answer this
question.

That study found that 35.5 % of completed rapes and 43.5% of attempted rapes
were committed by someone identified solely as a classmate. The bulk of the
remaining amount, 60.5 % of completed rapes and 48.4 % of attempted rapes,
were classified as being committed by a friend, boyfriend/ex-boyfriend or
acquaintance. Only 4 % of completed rapes and 8.1 % of attempted rapes were
committed by others or unknown individuals.

The non-classmate categories, however, likely include large percentages of
students, either at the victim's or another college. But the study does not
specifically provide data on the student status of these other categories.
And of course even some of the unknown individuals could be fellow students
too.

The complete results can be found on the DOJ's web site at...
