We would like to do a "baseline" assessment of the incidence of sexual assault
and attitudes about sexual assault on our campus. We plan to be adding
questions to the National College Health Assessment (conducted by American
College Health Assoc).
For those of you who have already designed survey items, would you please
share the wording of items you have used?
We are looking to assess attitudes towards sexual assault (as well as the
incidence of sexual assault, which the NCHA gets at well). Attitudes/issues
such as: What is consent? What about when one or both parties have been
drinking? Assumptions about sexual activity. The difference between coercion
and seducing. How safe would a student feel about reporting sexual assault to
the college?
Thanks very much,
Anamarie
