Young or old, student or administrator, health professional or peer
educator, we all know at least one victim of sexual assault. We all
know at least one person whose life has been turned upside-down by
sexual assault. We all wish we could do at least one more thing to
combat the incidence of sexual assault. Now we have that opportunity.
Washington and Lee University and NASPA Region III invite you to a
Sexual Assault Summit hosted by Washington and Lee University on
November 10-11, 2006. This event will bring students and administrators
together in a collaborative effort to discuss and analyze programs and
solutions to implement in the ongoing battle against sexual assault. We
hope you will join us for this unique opportunity. The time for change
is NOW. The impetus for change is YOU.
Attached, please find a detailed explanation of the summit and
instructions on how to register. I am also attaching a tentative
schedule of events. Please forward this information on to any other
students or administrators whom you believe would be interested in
attending this great event. I hope to see you in November!
