Hey y'all,
Our office has been brainstorming about ways to use technology to
better interface with students. One of my ideas was to create a podcast
(which are generally sound files to be downloaded either on a computer
or an I-Pod, for those like myself who aren't very technically savvy)
about "healing from sexual violence," "making a safety plan,"
"challenging an abusive friend," or "supporting a survivor" that
students could download and listen to privately. But I don't know if
students would really use this.
Especially for those of you who work with college campuses, how have
you utilized technology to reach your students? Has anyone out there
used podcasts? Have you any sense of how much your students are making
use of these? Please send e-mails directly to Ross at
if you have any ideas or experience or input. Thanks!
In peace,
Ross
