We have had both speakers on our campus .They are both excellent and can
engage even a large audience. They both focus on consent, but their
style is different.
Brett is an attorney and shows how a real college sexual assault
scenario was interpreted in court. His focus is on knowing what the law
allows and does not allow. The tricky part is that the law is a little
bit different in each state.
Mike's presentation is more on attitude and skill building. He helps
normalize asking for and expecting to be asked for consent and gives
students some direction on how to do that comfortably. He makes good
use of humor to draw in the students as well as tapping into the
students' compassion for survivors. Mike can draw in a more varied
audience, if this is not a mandatory program, as the title and promotion
don't make it sound like a sexual assault prevention program.

We are considering Mike Domritz and Brent Sokolow as speakers on out
campus for next year. Any feedback to help us make a good choice would
be greatly appreciated.
