Central Michigan University has had a peer advocate program since 1996.
The benefits to survivors are incredible. Much of the information on
the program is on our website: www.sapa.cmich.edu. I would be happy to
help establish a program.

Apologies if the emails I sent this week did not link you successfully
to our website.
Information about the MEF video sale is available at
http://www.mef.tv/gender/
The $19.95 price is certainly extended until December 31st, even if it
says otherwise on that page.
If you have any trouble, please be in touch.

I know a few people on the list have indicated that they have peer
advocates on their campus. I would be interested in finding out who you
are and if you would be willing to have a phone conversation with me
about how your program works. We have been attempting to implement this
on our campus specifically with women of color because we lost funding
for our women of color advocate and we are now expanding it but we have
not had much success so far so I am looking for ideas. So if anyone
would be willing to share what has worked on their campus, I'd greatly
appreciate it.
