Dear fellow SAPC listserve members,
The National Organization of Men's Outreach for Rape Education (NO MORE) is currently seeking applicants for the 2006 - 2007 "One in Four" RV Tour.
The 2006 - 2007 RV Tour will be the third year of this increasingly popular program. In its first year the RV traveled more than 30,000 miles to 41 colleges, 6 conferences, and 2 high schools. This year
the RV is expected to travel 40,000 miles to at least 55 colleges to present "How to Help a Sexual Assault Survivor: What Men Can Do." Recent news stories about the RV Tour have appeared in such media outlets as Oprah Magazine, the Chicago Tribune Red Eye and the CBS Evening News, in addition to critical acclaim from many scholars and rape prevention activists.
We are seeking a diverse pool of applicants who can effectively present our all-male peer education program. Our four positions are an ideal opportunity for candidates who are graduating from college in the Spring of 2006 or have graduated recently and want to be involved in a full-time job to work toward ending men's violence against women.
More on the RV tour can be found at www.nomorerape.org. For an application, please email , and one will be emailed to you. Our application deadline is November 30, 2005. If you have any questions, please contact our Executive Director, Dan Carlile, at 757-221-2191 or email him at .
Thank you.
Dr. John Foubert, President
