It's good to have some ongoing publicity about the dangers, but there are =
a couple of problematic messages here - one is that women can "prevent" =
sexual assault, and the second is that sexual assault is the result of =
"mixed signals". Maybe that happens from time to time, but I believe that =
most sexual assault is the result of predation. This article may lead =
women to believe that if they communicate their intents clearly, men won't =
hurt them. We need to talk with everyone about consent but also need to =
expand the frame.

follow-up article that sends healthier messages.
