A Task Force that's been studying all aspects of sexual assault on our
campus has a few questions for our colleagues at other institutions:

If your institution has a "sexual assault response coordinator (SARC)", or
someone who functions in that capacity, even though their title may be
different:

1. What is their relationship / contact with the parties to a reported
sexual assault? With the victim? With the alleged perpetrator?

2. If not your SARC, who serves as the advocate / support person for the
victim? For the alleged perpetrator?

3. What is the role of the person in Q#2 (above) in the campus judicial
proceedings?

4. Is the person(s)in Q#2 (above) empowered to take action on behalf of
the victim or alleged perpetrator (e.g. contact their professors, move
their housing, etc.)

And finally,

5. Does your institution have a mechanism for "anonymous" reporting of
sexual assault? Yes or No. If so, and it is web-based, please provide the
URL for it.

Hi All,

A professor here is doing work on "the red zone" and documenting other
aspects of unwanted sex on college campuses.

He is looking for examples of fraternity T-Shirts with sexist messages
or
other messages that directly promote sexual assault to use in a
presentation next week and again in November.
An example from here had some carpentry images and said something
like"we
screw, we bolt" on it.

Please send me phrases and images if you have them from T-Shirts you
know
about.
