We are working hard to get in contact with a male sexual assault survivor
for a book coming out that shares the inspirational stories of sexual
assault survivors (the book is titled "Voices of Courage"). All profits of
the book are going to organizations dedicated to raising awareness of issues
surrounding sexual assault (from children survivors to adult abuse). Each
chapter is another survivor's uplifting journey from the trauma of assault
to the triumphs of becoming a survivor. The book is already in the editing
process, but we are missing a male survivor from the book. We have a very
diverse group of female survivors who are great role models for other
survivors. We would love to have a male survivor included and have been
trying for several weeks (including contact males survivor organizations).
If you know of a male survivor that would be interested, please have him
contact me ASAP. The best way to contact me is by e-mail at
.
Any help you can provide will be greatly appreciated!!
We will do our best to make the process as easy and comforting as possible.
We are moving very quickly because we would like the book out for April
which is Sexual Assault Awareness Month.
