RIT seeks experienced, exceptionally skilled and energetic applicants to
work in a nationally unique educational setting.=20

General Summary: The Director is responsible for the leadership, program
development and management of RIT's Women's Center. Provide leadership
to the design, development and coordination of university programs and
services supporting the personal and academic success of women students.
Develop and foster collaborative partnerships with academic colleges,
student service units, and community agencies. Oversee Department of
Justice grant to combat violence against women. Develop and coordinate
proposals for external funding. Advise student organizations.=20

Qualifications: A Master's Degree in higher education, student
development, counseling, or related field, is required. Four to six
years relevant experience working in higher education with campus life
programming and support services, counseling/advocacy services or
women's center programming required. Knowledge of women's issues and
experience in the development of innovative educational programs for
students.=20

The successful candidate will possess superior interpersonal,
counseling, problem solving, and public speaking skills; strong
organizational skills; and excellent written, and cross-cultural
communication skills. Proven leadership abilities; demonstrated
supervisory experience; diplomacy; and a proven collaborative management
approach in working with campus constituents. Ability to thrive in a
fast-paced environment and effectively manage multiple priorities
required. Previous experience working with men on issues of violence
against women highly desirable. Previous grant writing experience
preferred. Knowledge of social norming theory or willingness to learn;
American Sign Language or willingness to learn; knowledge of student
development and a demonstrated commitment to cultural diversity
essential.=20

Salary: $43,800 to $50,600, excellent benefits package.=20
