If you refer to our web site: www.sapa.cmich.edu  our policies and
procedures can be accessed.  We found that a critical component to any
policies in residence life and university in general relating to sexual
aggression is giving the survivor the control over confidentiality.
Many universities have in their protocols that if a survivor tells
anyone in residence life, the name and details must be shared with
supervisors.  We have found that this greatly reduces the number of
survivors that will talk with anyone.

I've just begun this position at SUNY Oneonta in New York State and have
been asked to chair a committee to create our own sexual assault policy.
Does anyone have any suggestions? Or a policy they would be willing to
share?
Thank you,

I am attaching the link to our SA policy (University of South Carolina).
I hope that this helps.
