Linda Anderson asks for recommendations of books for survivors of
dating/domestic abuse.  
I recommend the following:

Ginny NiCarthy, Getting Free: You Can End Abuse and Take Back Your
Life
3rd edition, 1997, Seal Press, paper (originally $12.95)
Contains lots of self-assessment exercises to help you identify and
clarify several different factors, issues.

Seal Press publishes a lot on this topic.  See their website for
