Claire and listmembers--
It's come to my attention that our discussions on the SAPC listserv are
available to anyone doing a web search, for example, a search on
someone's name. While I remember an announcement regarding SAPC
discussions being available in archive, I did not realize (perhaps this
is my Web-unsophistication showing) that those discussions are available
to anyone. I thought that listserv members are screened before being
added to the list, and so I thought that the archive would be accessible
only to members. =20
I think one of the benefits of the list is to have a forum for
discussing these difficult societal issues, obtaining resources for
clients with whom we work, and, at time, speaking frankly about
evaluations of programs and challenges within our own institutions, etc.
For this reason, I would like to see the archive content protected if
this is possible.
If there is no way technically to provide a private discussion, I think
it's important that listmembers be reminded that anything they write can
be accessed by non-SAPC members on the Web.=20
Thank you--
Nancy

I'm interested in knowing which colleges and universities represented on
this list contain a Victim's Bill of Rights in addition to the due process
rights of the accused student in your Code of Student Conduct.
You may email me directly at
.
