Hello all, I hope this email finds you all having great days.
I have worked with Sex Signals and found it to be a wonderful program. It is informative, entertaining, holds student's interest and, best of all, really gets them talking! I will definitely have them back. I highly recommend it! -Heather Imrie
"Sex Signals - Blending a unique combination of improvisational comedy,
education, and audience particpation, "SEX SIGNALS" provides a provocative
look at the issues of dating, sex, and ultimately, date rape on college
campuses. The show explores how mixed messages, gender role stereotypes, and
unrealistic fantasies contribute to misunderstandings betwen the sexes.

Hello, everyone. =A0I am writing to let you know that we are now taking
reservations for Get Carded Day 2004 and to fill you in on our plans for th=
e
nationwide event. =20
First, thanks to everyone for the wonderful feedback about the Get Carded
Day cards. The most common suggestion was that this year's campaign includ=
e
information about what men can do to stop sexual violence. We agree, and
plan to add this component.
In addition to distributing cards, this year's Get Carded program will
include a poster and print ads targeted to men. The poster and ads will
take a social norms approach (to persuade men to emulate their peers'
non-violent behavior). We're currently working with Dr. Alan Berkowitz and
our own marketing experts to develop messages for this effort.
Last fall, more than 2,500 volunteers from more than 350 rape crisis center=
s
and campus groups participated in the first Get Carded Day. Together, we
educated more than 700,000 college students (and could have reached more if
we hadn't run out of materials).
This year, thanks to the generosity of Prudential (for printing the cards)
and Coors (for printing the posters), we will have enough materials to reac=
h
more than 1.5 million students. We look forward to working with you to mak=
e
the day twice as successful as last year's.
=20
To participate, please download a form at www.rainn.org/getcarded.html and
email it to me off-list, or fax it to me at 202-544-3556.
=20
Materials are available on a first come, first served basis, so please
reserve your materials early. There is absolutely NO cost to participate in
this program. RAINN will provide you with all the materials (of course, you
are welcome to pass out your own materials along with those we provide).
There will be a separate order form for the posters that will be available
soon. =20
If you have any questions, please email or call me (202 544 3075). Thank yo=
u
so much, and we look forward to working with you again this year.
