The Georgia Institute of Technology is accepting applications for the position of Violence Prevention Coordinator. As part of an on-going campus-wide initiative, this position is responsible for the development and implementation of violence prevention programs, including: conducting needs assessments; conducting general awareness and education programs; developing a men's violence prevention program; fostering student leadership development; conducting staff trainings; and developing social marketing materials.

This grant-funded position is for six months, with the possibility of an additional 24 months of funding, and includes benefits. Candidates should possess excellent communication skills as well as experience with educational and other approaches to preventing men's violence, community-building, or social justice. A bachelor's degree in public health, health education, psychology or a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience required. A master's degree preferred.
