Did anyone ever mention if there is an updated version of "Playing the =
Game?"
 **** I hope there is one, but regardless it is one of the few videos I use.
Perhaps it would be helpful to let Intermedia know how many people are
interested in an updated version.

Is there an updated version of "Playing the game"? Last time I saw it, it
was very dated-- late 80's haircuts and clothes. I couldn't get students to
20 take it seriously because of this...

*** I would make sure to let people know that I knew it was from the 80's,
but I would always begin by saying, feel free to laugh at the hair and the
clothes, but I would ask for your attention, and usually they would at the
beginning, especially the song, but after they calmed down it usually wasn't
an issue.

After I show the video I would always say... "So what did you think?", and
then the victim blaming comes out... and so I would write each comment on
the board without saying anything, and it was such a visual way to show what
we mean by victim blaming, I think it was really effective, and being as how
in the video the friends of each were each the "friend" and "devils
advocate" it is quite effective in bringing in all sides of the argument.
