your name and your e-mail address from Janet Epstein at the Womens
Resource Center at Syracuse University. 
As you may
know, in addition to offering entertainment, Lifetime Television is also
committed to providing informational programming and advocating a wide
range of issues affecting women and their families.  As part of this
commitment, on February 17th, we are airing Until the Violence
Stops,a documentary produced by V-Day, the global movement to end
violence against women and girls, which grew out of Eve Enslers
award-winning play, The Vagina Monologues.  
 
In 2002, 8=

cities participated in this movement to end violence against women and
girls; Until the Violence Stopsshows the impact of this movement on five
international communities, while exposing the various forms of violence
women experience all over the world. 
 
Given the
pervasiveness of this issue in the United States and overseas, our hope
is to encourage as many college women as possible to watch this
documentary when it airs later this month.  We would greatly
appreciate any assistance you could provide us with in this
endeavor.

college outreach strategy consists of using e-mail to initiate a viral
campaign.  Several national organizations that each maintain a
strong college presence (i.e. Amnesty International and various national
