Dear Friends:

Out of deference to your list manager and fellow subscribers, please 
remember to either unsubscribe yourself or suspect your subscription to 
SAPC if you plan to go away (and put a vacation message on your 
email).  Or, if you can't figure out how to do that, please just email me 
and ask me to handle things, with your date of departure/return.

Also, when you send a message to the list, PLEASE do not use your "reply" 
button if at all possible; if you do, try to remove all but the most 
critical piece of the message to which you are replying, so that we don't 
have lengthy messages with all the old stuff on it.  With this new system, 
I am not able to "clean up" your messages before they go to the list.
