POSITION ANNOUNCEMENT


STAFF COUNSELOR AND SEXUAL ASSAULT OFFICER-WESTERN KENTUCKY UNIVERSITY


The University Counseling & Testing Center seeks applications for the 
position of Staff Counselor.  General responsibilities will be individual 
and group counseling, outreach programming, consultation, training and 
crisis intervention.  Specific responsibility will be to develop a 
comprehensive educational and prevention program for sexual assault (date 
rape, etc.) among students and the university community.  Qualifications 
include a graduate degree (Masters or Doctorate) in counseling or related 
area and experience in sexual assault education/counseling.  Opportunity 
for teaching in academic department is possible.  Salary is competitive and 
based upon degree and experience.  This is a 12-month position.  Position 
will remain open until filled.  Appointment is effective January 1, 2004,
