Dear Sister Centers,

I am looking for books and information on the following components involving
sexual assault:

Social Impact- Blaming the victim, normalizing male aggression - basically
ways in which our society is a rape culture...stats...ideas.

Recidivism - Are convicted rapists likely to be repeat offenders once
released from prison?  Are rehabilitative programs useful/helpful?  Stats on
rehabilitation programs and recidivism.

If anyone has reliable sources on the above components, I'd greatly
appreciate it.  A friend is testifying at a convicted rapist's parole
hearing and wants to address the possibility that if released, he may rape
again, address rehabilitation programs and their effectiveness, and show how
our culture factors into the crime of rape.

I have only read the Ms Report (I never called it Rape).  Is this a reliable
source for a court hearing?  Are there other good books out there?

Thanks so much for your time!!!!
