Dear Friends:
The Florida State Women's Center is in trouble. Conservative student senators in the student government have appointed a women to run the center (it is student-run) who didn't even know the name of the organization. One of their concerns is that the center does educational work on sexual assault, something that apparently is not important to them.
Likely, this process has been supported by groups such as the very-well funded International Women's Forum, which blames feminists for all the legislation in support of anti-sexual assault education (read: male-bashing) and services that has passed Congress.
