Hello all:

Have any of you ever written a mission statement and goals for your campus
sexual assault procedures?

I wish to train my colleagues about what the object of good procedures are
(e.g. preserving a victim's right to confidentiality; a victim doesn't have
to tell her story over and over; alerting the fewest number of people
possible about a victim's name, case details, etc.). I want to insure that
our policies are meeting the appropriate goals.

A question I'm asking about my campus is: Who gets to know about a case and
how much?

Who is part of the team on your campuses who might be involved with the
investigation and/or victim support? Have you all found ways to keep this to
a minimum?

I have downloaded a few of the SA policies, but most don't detail campus
procedure.

Thank you,
Kris Montgomery
