Impact to Building Occupants: No heating No hot water Building will be cooler and more humid

There will be no heating water, steam or domestic hot water provided by main utility distribution lines for the entire outage.
There will be temporary electric water heaters installed to provide domestic hot water to IRC and Brown College.

This Outage Will Occur Daily: -

Scheduled Start Date and Time:	2022-Aug-04 15:00
Scheduled End Date and Time:	2022-Aug-08 04:00
Reason for Outage:	E & U utilities will have to valve off steam and medium temperature hot water at the amphitheater to re-work main distribution lines and add shut-off valves at the Tucker/Newcomb tunnel intersection. We will be removing some 8-inch gate valves, cutting in 12-inch diameter carbon steel tees, installing butterfly valves, and fabricated pipe. This outage will establish a starting point for the Low Temperature Hot Water Conversion Phase 3C project.
