FIRE ALARM INSPECTION / TEST
PLEASE POST CENTRALLY IN YOUR DEPARTMENT

FACILITIES MANAGEMENT WILL BE INSPECTING / TESTING THE FIRE ALARM SYSTEM IN BLDG:

1150 University Hospital

AFFECTED FLOORS:  Ground 2M

This is for duct detector testing on 2m and ground floor Air Handler Units

   

***Please Review Your Local Downtime Activation Plan in Advance of This Test***

While no interruptions in service are expected, beyond those indicated in this notice, you should review your local area response plan prior to the test.  For unexpected issues related to this test please report to Help Desk at 4-2267 and your local clinical leadership for operational response.


Additional Information:
Fire Doors Will NOT Close


AHUs Will Shut Down & Immediately Restart


AFFECTED AHUs:

2m AHU
Ground floor AHU

Additional Notes for Fire System Maintenance Personnel

Note 1:  Ensure there is not any troubles on the fire panel when system is back in service

Note 2:  Per State Fire Marshal - Fire watch must be provided when the fire alarm or sprinkler systems are out of service.  HSPP Fire Marshal must be notified 24 hours prior to taking  the system offline by email:  

Note 3:  Submit fire watch log and documentation to Chuck Parker, Deputy Director, at conclusion of testing

Note 4:  Contact HSPP Service Desk (4-8091) and Systems Control (2-4685) prior to starting and upon completion of all work
