Facilities Management Outage Notification

Fire System - Fire System Panel,Smoke Detection Outage    

BLDG: 0082 ALDERMAN LIBRARY

 

Affected Floors / Rooms:  All floors in the new stacks are affected by the outage

Impact to Building Occupants:  No Fire Alarms

Scheduled Start Date and Time:	2020-Jan-17 07:00
Scheduled End Date and Time:	2020-Jun-01 08:00
Reason for Outage:	Enabling work for the abatement process requires that the surface mounted conduits and devices be removed so as to allow access to the ACM paint. Additionally, water will be introduced to the floors with the abatement process. Frequency of false alarms could become a nuisance concern. We are requesting the removal of devices in the “New and Old Stacks.”
